The Spanish government is confident of a resumption of international tourism in late June
Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos said in a television interview on Monday, “We cannot allow the free movement of foreigners as long as the Spanish population is restricted.” He added that it will be possible to receive tourists as soon as the Spaniards can leave the county where they live.
The head of the ministry stressed the importance of making the country “attractive” from a health point of view. Tourism needs security and trust, he noted. (Fehér Krisztina, MTI)
