The beer market can get through the nadir
On the basis of the experiences of the first six months, the ten years lasting decline of the domestic beer market seems to slow down, the domestic brewers are hoping that this year they can even get through the nadir.
The peak season of beer consumption usually comes in the summer: roughly two-third of annual turnover realizes during the period. On the basis of the first two quarters, the brewers and the distributors are hoping, that the Hungarian beer market passes its nadir. “Overall, we have last year's numbers, but the base is low, since 2010 had been extremely difficult,” – said Kiss Éva, communications manager of Heineken Hungária to Világgazdaság – reports hvg.hu.
