A Savaria Karnevál is bevezeti a reusable cups
The organizers of the Savaria Karnevál are pleased to announce on the festival’s official Facebook page that they will introduce the REPOHÁR SYSTEM this year. The aim of the new system is to reduce the amount of waste generated during the event and at the same time offer an environmentally friendly solution to festival goers.
How does the repohár system work?
The system is simple and easy to follow:
Payment of a glass fee: When purchasing a drink for the first time, guests must pay a one-time glass fee of HUF 500.
Use of a cup: During the festival, guests can use a RevoCup cup with the image of the unique Savaria Historical Carnival. You can even take this glass home as a souvenir.
Redemption of a glass: If the guests do not wish to keep the glass, they can return it at any catering counter. In this case, instead of a refund, they will receive a physical token.
Token use: The received token can be redeemed for a cup later at any RevoCup or Cupler partner.
Token Redemption: Advantages and Disadvantages
Token redemption has both advantages and disadvantages. According to experience, one of the disadvantages of the system is that there are several repo systems in use in the country, each of which works with different tokens. For this reason, many people do not want to carry the token with them at the end of the festival, so they throw away the repo. However, even then, less garbage is generated than if there were no repohar system.
