The domestic cantaloupe melon season starts in early June

The domestic melon season starts with the cantaloupe melon. During the first week of June, it can be purchased in commercial quantities in the markets – cantaloupe melon president of the National Watermelon Growers Association told MTI.

He added that the watermelon season is expected to start by July 5.

Oravecz Tamás stressed that the melon growers, have indicated the traderswhen the season to be started and the possible duration of the season to be prepared for the reception of the Hungarian arable fruit. (MTI)
