The private labels and import milk are the winners
The surge of imports and the expansion of private label products are the two decisive factors in the domestic retail trade of dairy products – reported Világgazdaság on Tuesday, on the basis of the datas of MEMRB market research company.
The ratio of imports increased from 10 percent, to above 20 percent. This rate is even higher in the hypermarkets; it is 33 percent. This is a 10 percentage point growth, compared to the first eight months of 2007, though it is a two percentage point decrease, compared to 2009 – reports Privatbankar.hu, after Világgazdaság.
