Rossmann got ready for the second wave
As a stable workplace, Rossmann Hungary responded to the first wave of the coronavirus with a quick home office transition for office workers. To protect customers and workers, health measures are still in place at 219 stores in the drugstore chain and at the company’s headquarters. Rossmann Hungary employs nearly 2,000 people, and although the April-May period was a major challenge for the company, all jobs were retained and even wage increases were made.
Stability was of paramount importance to employees during this period of uncertainty. The company’s executives have therefore communicated through several channels about job retention and announced that all employees will benefit from post-inflation wage increases even in this challenging economic climate.
