Pizza and grilled meat are a succes in Romanian hypermarkets
Four Romanian hypermarket chain (Auchan, Cora, Real, Carrefour) judged to operate within the fast-food stores. The chain's success proves that 4-5 percent of the total revenue is from the sales of meals made in-house.
One of the chain's marketing member said that the fast-food hypermarket strategy brought unexpected success. Revenues are close to the revenues of the country's largest fast-food chain (McDonald's).
