AB InBev purchased SABMiller
Shareholders from both companies voted overwhelmingly in favor of the acquisition, one of the largest in corporate history. AB InBev will drop the SABMiller name and begin trading as a combined company. SABMiller own the Dreher Breweries in Hungary.
AB InBev's 102.85 billion USD bid passed in a meeting at a London Park Lane hotel lasting less than half an hour, overseen by Chairman Jan du Plessis, who fielded only two questions from shareholders. (index.hu)
