Red Bull conquered the sports world
If someone spends nearly a billion dollars annually financing sporting events, and for the sponsorship of teams and athletes to promote its products can gain tremendous influence in the sport business through this. Dietrich Mateschitz, the ”father” of Red Bull energy drink did exactly this.
The SportBusiness magazine named Austrian Dietrich Mateschitz marketing magician as the most influential man of 2010 in the sport business.
According to the estimation of SportBusiness; 30-40 percent of the sales revenue of the Red Bull is revolved into (not just sports-related) marketing activities. The amount can reach up to 1 billion USD – reports hvg.hu.
