Raiffeisen expects 3.4 percent growth this year
This year, the economy may grow by 3.4 percent in Hungary, but in 2020-2021, the economy is expected to grow by only 2-3 percent – RaIffeisen Bank told MTI in its quarterly economic analysis.
The financial institution emphasized that Hungary reached the peak of its current economic cycle in 2018, with economic growth gradually slowing down in the coming quarters. The external environment will become less and less supportive for the growth in Hungary, and economic policy will be less able to support growth than before – according to the Communication. (MTI)
