11 February-7 May 2010 is the period assigned to enter the POPAI Awards UK&Ireland competition, in 18 categories. Results will be announced in July.

GlobalShop 2010
On 10-12 March, Las Vegas will host the world’s biggest trade marketing fair. More than 700 exhibitors will present their merchandising and instore marketing tools, including digital solutions. POPAI USA will be the main sponsor of the digital and At-Retail section of a conference.

Large companies on social networking sites
More than one third of the companies on the Fortune 500 list were active on websites like Twitter. 4 out of the top 5 have a Twitter account and use it constantly: Walmart, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and General Electric (the exception is Exxon Mobil).
