The Bakers’ Association suggests VAT rate cuts and clear market conditions
The Hungarian Bakers’ Association suggests a reduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) and to create fair market conditions, in the baking industry – Septe József, president of the association told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
He reminded that the Bakers’ Association had previously wanted to achieve, to reduce VAT on bread to 5 percent from the current 18; But the bread was not classified among the basic food products and the government negotiations in this regard have been concluded. (MTI)
