Wheat from Pakistan may bring a fall in prices
The harvest has started in Pakistan as well as the acquisition of the new wheat crop. This – together with the production of other countries will reduce the grain prices that rose to record levels last year.
The arrival of the new harvest breaks down the wholesale price of wheat, and is expected to decline further in the near future – writes dawn.com, Central Asia's most prestigious business portal.
Because in the southern hemisphere, and in some countries closer to the equator the new crop will be available, the world market price of wheat and other cereals can considerably decline. (Braunmüller Lajos, Világgazdaság Online)
