Nébih’s last year in 40 pages
On 15 March the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) celebrated its 9th birthday. A 40-page book was published for the anniversary, which collects the most important events of 2020 in the life of Nébih. It is needless to say that the coronavirus pandemic had a great impact on Nébih’s work too, but the office quickly and flexibly adapted to the new situation. The office even launched a local food producer search function and published operative guides to assist members of the food supply chain in coping with the crisis. Nébih performed 567 major inspections and imposed fines in the value of more than HUF 116 million in 2020. //
