Nébih has suspended the operation of a confectionery plant in the capital
A confectionery plant in the capital was suspended by the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) after the office’s specialists revealed serious hygiene deficiencies during the on-site inspection of the plant; the proceedings and fines are pending, Nébih told MTI on Thursday.

Nébih has suspended a confectionery plant due to serious hygiene deficiencies
In addition to the hygiene problems, the inspectors found that the company did not keep production and monitoring documentation related to the food produced.
The authority withdrew from the market a total of 519 kilograms of non-traceable food with immediate effect. (MTI)
