Businesses and fields of activity NAV pays special attention to
The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) has identified those fields of activities and businesses to which the tax authorities will pay special attention this year. An analysis by Deloitte revealed that NAV will focus on enterprises which move their registered office – typically to Pest County or Budapest – in order to improve their tax procedures, but actually operate somewhere else. István Veszprémi, a Deloitte partner in tax and legal matters told that online cash register use will also be in NAV’s centre of attention, together with online retail, online services and shared economy services. Meat processing, retail trade, livestock trade, food, beverage and tobacco product retail, building and construction, road transport, staff leasing, information and communication technology product trade will also be examined by NAV.
