The NaturAqua presents Hungary’s first PlantBottle mineral water bottle partly made of plants

From now, the NaturAqua natural mineral water will use the PlantBottle™ Technology, which is the food packaging technology of the future.

This eco-friendly innovation allows to produce fully recyclable PET bottles made of plants on the beverage market for the first time. The PlantBottle™ packaging is made of up to 25 percent plant-based material, thereby leaving a smaller carbon footprint behind.

Since its introduction in 2009, more than 35 billion PlantBottle™ bottles were marketed in nearly 40 countries around the world. It is estimated that the introduction of the PlantBottle™ technology more than 315,000 tons less carbon dioxide was let into the atmosphere
