The producer price of sunflower seeds rose by 10 percent

In Argentina, spot sunflower seeds traded unchanged at $430/ton (FOB Buenos Aires) between June 14 and July 12. In Ukraine, the immediate export price of oilseed delivered to the western border also did not change during the indicated period, it was 385 dollars/ton.

In Saint-Nazaire and Bordeaux, France, the October-November export price of the crop rose by $17 and $14, respectively, to $485/ton (FOB). At the same time, the spot export price of sunflower seeds in Bulgaria fell by $1 to $481/ton (Tallage). According to AKI PÁIR data, high-oil sunflower seeds (LO) were bought by processors and traders for HUF 159.7 thousand/ton (+10 percent) in the second week of August. The producer price of industrial sunflower seeds (including high oleic sunflower seeds) without VAT and transport costs was HUF 159.7 thousand/ton (+10 percent) on average.
