István Király
enterprise business unit director
Vodafone Magyarország

How can large companies support SMEs in going digital? István Király, Vodafone Hungary’s enterprise business unit director told our magazine that they offer tailor-made solutions to business partners, made available to them in packages. A good example of this Vodafone’s IoT solution – one of the company’s strengths in this domain is connectivity: besides ensuring that data is transmitted from one point to another, they also install the necessary devices for measuring data and displaying them in an interactive, user-friendly fashion.

Dr. Gábor Piller
sales and marketing director
Telenor Magyarország

Dr Gábor Piller, sales and marketing director of Telenor Hungary informed us that they offer a wide range of services to partners, from the electronic bill to the latest smartphone models to M2M and cloud services. Their philosophy is understanding partners and making their work easier with solutions tailored to their specific needs. Mobile device management (MDM) services can be used by partners’ IT experts to manage and maintain mobile phone fleets.

Mr Király is of the opinion that most Hungarian companies are already using some kind of M2M solution, e.g. fleet tracking systems, online cash registers, etc. In today’s data-focused world everyone wants to measure and analyse something, in order to increase the company’s efficiency and to optimise processes. The introduction of NB-IoT will make it possible for devices forming a network to communicate with one another at low bandwidth. Dr Piller revealed that Telenor Hungary has been making M2M and IoT solutions available for a long time – these can make it easier for companies to do their work, e.g. they offers services in the fields of online cash registers, m-health projects, etc. Last year a pilot programme analysed the opportunities lying in the connected car technology. When asked about the soon-to-be-launched 5G technology, Telenor’s expert pointed out that it will make it possible to provide more users with wideband mobile internet service on a given territorial unit. Vodafone’s expert believes that at the beginning 5G’s effect won’t be palpable in everyday life; instead it will entail the rapid spreading of connected devices forming a network. The technology’s biggest advantage is that practically there is no transmission delay.

Ervin Szabó
CEO
Kulcs-Soft Számítástechnika

Kulcs-Soft Számítástechnika Nyrt.’s CEO Ervin Szabó talked to Trade magazin about their new-generation invoicing software, BizXpert. This product was developed to satisfy the needs of those partners who are always on the go. The CEO told about the company’s ‘integrated business administration software’ products. By using these companies can manage their daily sales, sourcing and other operations at the same place. It is needless to say that these products come with support, updates, a knowledge base and a 20-member customer service team. Mr Szabó added that the best is if an enterprise buys all software products from the same IT company, because this way it is guaranteed that they communicate well and efficiently with one another, thanks to their matching data structure.

Andrea Vörös-Márton
managing director
Szintézis ERP

Andrea Vörös-Márton, managing director of Szintézis ERP Kft. talked to our magazine about how Szintézis group had realised the importance of integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems already in 1996, and established a company, Szintézis ERP Kft., to specialise in this field. They work in partnership with INFOR Global and Revolution Software Kft. Ms Vörös-Márton stressed the importance of the latest data being available to everyone at the company: this guarantees rapid reaction and higher-level of service provided to customers. She mentioned an innovative solution that works well with an ERP system – the PRICER electronic shelf label for industrial use, e.g. to display manufacturing information in order to prevent the occurrence of damages. //
