Peanut bars are the most popular
Flavour is the most important factor in choosing a chocolate, according to the findings of a recent survey. Peanut/ almond flavoured bars are the most popular (44 %). 7 out of 10 people regard the positive effect of chocolate on mood and mental activity as the most important physiological benefit of consumption. 76 per cent of the people interviewed regularly consume chocolate products. Average per capita consumption of chocolate in Hungary is only 3,2 kilogram at the moment, compared to the 6,5 kilogram EU average, and is even further behind that of the leading markets like Germany, England or Switzerland.
