Quality tourism can increase tourism revenues in Hungary

Hungary should move toward quality tourism services in order to increase the number of foreign tourists and foreign guest nights – Szalók Csilla head of Institute of the Catering and Tourism Faculty of the Budapest University of Economics wrote in her sommunication she sent to MTI.

Szalók Csilla wrote that 2015 can be considered as a really successfull year in terms of tourism. According to the latest report of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), tourism grew the most dynamically in Hungary within Europe; the number of international tourist arrivals inreased by nearly 20 percent. But in terms of overnight stays Hungary is lagging behind the region's average. (MTI)
