Hotel occupancy in Budapest declined last November due to the wave of migration
Year 2015 in tourism will not be so good, as it was expected in the first half of the year because of the migratory situation and the Paris terror attacks. In addition Budapest felt the negative effects the most of these events among the regional capitals -Világgazdaság Online wrote.
The occupancy of hotels in Paris decreased by 10.3 percent to 65.5 in November 2015, in Brussels, declined by 14.1 percent to 61.1 percent, compared to the same period of 2014, due to the terror threat in Europe.
In November, the hotel occupancy in Budapest fell to 62.3 percent from 65.6 percent, compared to November 2014, while the occupancy of hotels increased in Vienna by 2.2, in Prague by 4.2, in Bratislava by 1.7 and in Warsaw by 3.4 percent. (Szabó Brigitta, Világgazdaság Online)
