Agricultural output reached 2,720 billion HUF last year
Agricultural production has grown spectacularly in recent years, with output of the sector reaching 2,720 billion HUF in 2018 and only 1,686 billion HUF in 2010, making Hungary the strongest growth in the European Union – Feldman Zsolt, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture said at OTP Bank’s press conference on agricultural lending in Budapest on Wednesday.
Wolf László, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of OTP Bank indicated that agriculture and the food industry play a key role in the lending activities of the OTP Group, with the parent bank lending 200 billion HUF to agricultural enterprises in the first half of this year. (MTI)
