METRO has started delivering the MICHELIN glory plates
On September 14, the veil was lifted on the identity of this year’s MICHELIN Guide award winners – restaurants recommended by MICHELIN’s anonymous inspectors are included in the popular gastronomic guidebook, and they also receive a plaque confirming the award they received.
As a partner of the MICHELIN Guide and quality gastronomy, METRO Wholesale has for many years taken care of the delivery of MICHELIN plates certifying top quality. This time, the task calls for professional logistics, as this year’s Hungarian selection of the MICHELIN Guide brought a real prize-winner.
75 restaurants, including 28 in Budapest, and 47 rural restaurants are listed in the appropriate sections of the MICHELIN Guide. This year’s MICHELIN Gala included 2 two-star restaurants, 7 one-star restaurants, 7 Bib Gourmand restaurants, 59 recommended restaurants, and 5 MICHELIN green star (sustainable) restaurants.
