METRO raised its starting salary by nearly twenty percent above the professional minimum wage
At the beginning of 2018, the METRO Nagykereskedelmi Kft. (METRO Wholesale Ltd.) developed and launched its Corporate Wage Development Program, which is based on the principles of transparency, planning and recognition of individual performance.
METRO implements this system consistently – based on employee feedback and the exact knowledge of the market and its growth potential.
The management of the company in addition to the Works Council, has been in constant consultation with the Trade Union of Trade Employees, who have been involved in the joint work.
