METRO’s educational mission
METRO, which has 13 domestic stores, is more than wholesale: it also has a long history of educational and professional supply activities. As part of this, the company also filmed video training material to help catering students prepare – the videos will become relevant again with the start of the school year.
For the practical part of the tourism-hospitality industry basic exam, confident knowledge of four subjects in three areas is required: the examinee prepares a specific main course and dessert, prepares the guest area and receives the guests, and then prepares a non-alcoholic cocktail for them. mobile tutorials can prepare for 240 of the total 250 minutes of the sectoral exam – excluding 10 minutes of portfolio presentation – .
