METRO supermarket chain supports the victims of the Haitian earthquake
METRO provides the raw materials and refreshments for the charity gala dinner, which is organized to help the victims of the Haitian earthquake.
METRO, as the committed supporter and partner of Hungarian gastronomy, stood behind the ” Star Chefs for Haiti – Eat to feed them” program organised by the Hungarian Bocuse d'Or Academy.
The event will be held on the 17th of February and METRO will provide the raw materials and refreshments. Hungarian master chefs will prepare the dinner: Buday Péter master chef and the finalist chefs of Bocuse d’Or Selection Hungary: Hajdú Zoltán (Ken Carpathia), Kiss Gergely (Crocus-Gere Borhotel – Villány), Kiss Krisztián (Dunapark Kávéház), Kiripolszki István (Kogart), Kostyál Gábor (Hotel Helikon – Keszthely), Lenkei Tamás (Hunguest Hotel Pelion – Héviz), Mező Gábor (Café Erté) és Volenter István (Mala Garden – Siófok).
The total revenue of the event will serve to help the victims.
The charity gala dinner will take place in the Chain Bridge restaurant of Sofitel Budapest.
