The turnover of cosmetics and household chemicals increased in the terms of volume as well
The sales volume of retail from cosmetics and household chemicals was 333 billion HUF in 2014; 6 percent more than a year earlier.
In terms of volume the sales increased last time in 2010. However the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company registered a plus 2 percent growth again in 2014, compared to the previous year.
The revenue of stores increased by more than the average in case of nine products among the twenty products that have the highest turnover: for example the sales of diapers, toothpaste and fabric softeners increased by 9, the sales of detergents by 8 and the sales of toilet papers by 7 percent.
