In ten years, the average wage and the median wage also increased strongly in Hungary – the Vice-President of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) told MTI on Tuesday.
Windisch László pointed out that there is a significant increase in both indicators. While the average wage increased by almost 83 percent, from 202,500 HUF to almost 367,800 HUF, from 2010 to 2019, median earnings increased even more, by 91 percent, from 153,000 HUF to 292,300 HUF. The earnings data for 2020 will be published by the statistical office at the end of the month. (MTI)
