McDonald’s characters are also entering the Minecraft universe
For gaming and movie fans, one of the most anticipated films of the year may be “A Minecraft Movie,” which holds many little secrets and cultural treats for viewers. The upcoming premiere also holds a surprise for hamburger fans, as special McDonald’s characters will appear in the Minecraft universe and on the menu related to the film.
Few people here may have heard of it, but the world of McDonaldland has become very much part of American culture, with its mayor resembling a cheeseburger and its police captain resembling a Big Mac. The latter doesn’t have much to do, though, because apart from stealing a burger or two, there isn’t much crime in the small town. In addition to them, the town has many other residents, including the “bad guy,” Hamburglar, the always cheerful Grimace, and Birdie, the breakfast lark, who often appears in the restaurant chain’s foreign advertisements.
One of the most popular open-world computer games of our time, Minecraft, and McDonald’s have a fan base that includes people from all walks of life and ages. That’s why the restaurant chain created “blocky” versions of the three characters who also play a role in the hype surrounding the movie. But let’s see who they really are!
Hamburglar is the town’s most mischievous resident, and he has set himself one goal: to get a hamburger at any cost. Despite his chosen profession, Hamburglar is actually kind-hearted and a true prankster, not a real criminal, and his actions are never malicious. Even with his constant pranks, he still finds time to hang out with the other residents of McDonaldland.
