A Mastercard Európában elsőként vezeti be az UEFA Champions League digitális passion kártyát az OTP Bankkal együttműködésben

The “passion card” is a thematic card image associated with a digital bank card, which connects the visual appearance of payment with the passion for football. In cooperation between Mastercard and OTP Bank, a UEFA Champions League-themed digital passion card image is now available in Europe for the first time. The initiative builds on the long-standing partnership between Mastercard and the UEFA Champions League: Mastercard is the official sponsor of the tournament.

UEFA Champions League digital passion card

The new design is available as a digital card image for the Mastercard Gold card, Mastercard Online Junior card, Mastercard Virtual card and Mastercard Online card in OTP Bank’s debit card portfolio until the Champions League final in Budapest (after which the original card images will be restored). The card image exchange is automatic, exclusively in electronic form, and can be used in mobile wallets.  The solution affects many customers, including young people, career starters and even premium customers.

Gift game in OTP MobilBank – a chance to the Champions League final

The digital card image is also linked to a prize game available in OTP MobilBank. OTP Mastercard cardholders can register in the mobile application and then collect points by making purchases with their bank card. To participate in the prize draw, the collection of points is supplemented by a short quiz.

The best performers can win a pair of tickets to the UEFA Champions League final on May 30, 2026, held at the Puskás Arena in Budapest.

This is the first time that a prize draw is available within the OTP Bank mobile application, without an external registration interface.

Digital payment, tied to a sports experience

The UEFA Champions League-themed digital card image is the first to appear in this form at the European level. The initiative connects digital payments and interest in sports during everyday banking.
