Essity Hungary Kft. helps Hungarian childcare and educational institutions, as well as seniors with donations of liquid soap and dispensers, as well as diapers, worth more than HUF 5 million.
All over the country
Tork hand sanitizer liquid soap and dispenser distributed by Essity Hungary Kft. will go to Bethesda Children Hospital, to the House of Blind in Csongrád county, to several kindergartens and primary schools, while Libero-branded nappies also benefit the Immánuel Home in Debrecen, which cares for disabled children, and the Zsófia Juhász Reformed Home for the Disabled in Őrbottyán.
The ceremony to Bethesda Children’s Hospital began with a greeting from Zoltán Balog, Prime Ministerial Commissioner for Social Affairs and Reformed Church Pastor, in which he highlighted:
“By the second wave, most people were tired, bitter, and maybe didn’t see the point in taking an active role in defense, so it’s a special pleasure to have some who were ready for the second wave with help.”
Help is never enough
With the offering of Essity, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygiene and health care products, it wants to support Hungarian childcare and education and elderly care institutions, thus reducing the expenses of social and health care institutions.
Zoltán Venter, the managing director of Essity Hungary Kft. talked about the fact that in recent years they have learned that help is needed everywhere and is never enough. He added that they wanted to support with their donations institutions with smaller budgets and more difficult situations, so they asked for the help of the Hungarian Reformed Church Aid who knows where the support is most needed.
At the event open to the press, the donations to Bethesda were received by Dr. György Velkey, the head of the institution, who said that the hospital has been cooperating with the donor company for a long time, and the common thinking behind their assistance was of special value.
The Hungarian Reformed Church Aid, represented by Márton Juhász, managing director, provides hygiene products and equipment to homes, hospitals and children raised in difficult financial conditions caring for the elderly and injured children.
