The Poultry animal welfare subsidy can also be applied for with already existing flocks
The Ministry of Agriculture draws applicants’ attention to the fact that the VP3-14.1.4-22 Poultry animal welfare subsidy published on October 12, 2022 can also be applied for those flocks that were already in the applicant’s farm at the beginning of the subsidy, and therefore, at the beginning of the commitment period – due to the holding time – they cannot fulfill the minimum holding time in culture prescribed in the call.
It is possible to submit grant applications until December 15, 2022. Applications submitted late cannot be taken into account for the commitment starting this year. For herds that were already in breeding at the beginning of the commitment period, and the minimum holding time would not be fully met, a proportionally reduced support amount will be paid based on the value of the herd’s animal unit. The conditions contained in the Call for Tenders (stock density, notification of deliveries, etc.) must also be observed in the case of these stocks, as well as the completion and up-to-date keeping of the documents named in the call.
In the case of herds for which animal welfare support was already requested for the same activity before October 16, 2022, it will not be possible to request payment from this support even for a broken year. In the case of commodity-producing herds, previous subsidies are established by the Hungarian State Treasury on the basis of the place of keeping identifier and breeder code, and in the case of stock herds, on the basis of the BIR herd identifier.
