The majority of Hungarians are not afraid of the machine revolution
The overwhelming majority of Hungarians have a fundamentally positive attitude towards technological development, according to the latest, representative research by MediaMarkt. Although we sometimes feel the pressure and frustration of constantly having to keep up with technological advances, overall we believe that they make our lives easier, and for now we are not afraid of the machines taking over.
With its current research, MediaMarkt searched for the answer to the extent to which we are concerned with technological trends, how anxiously or rather expectantly we observe the latest innovations, how much we use them and, in general, how much we are aware of the true meaning of an often mentioned smart function.
Although we often voice our fears regarding the development and use of robot technology and, even more so, artificial intelligence, it seems that these fears are actually more of a reflection for the time being, as only seven percent of the research participants believe that technical innovations are more harmful, while more than two-thirds fully or rather support the innovations. According to most respondents, these achievements make everyday life easier (64%) and according to many, they provide more free time (39%), while others rated this as too convenient (57%).
