Hungarians prefer to believe that money makes you happy
According to an international survey of 19,516 adult respondents worldwide, nearly two-thirds of people say they are happy. There is no significant difference in the order of the factors influencing happiness in Hungary compared to the world average – health, family, relationships are the most important – but half of the Hungarians are still unhappy.
For the sixth time in the last 10 years, Ipsos has drawn the world happiness map. According to research involving 27 countries, Hungary and Spain are the two least happy European nations, while the Netherlands represents the positive extreme globally.
