Pizza Hut is building a franchise network in the Hungarian market
This year, Pizza Hut will start building its partner franchise network in Hungary: the casual fast food chain would open several restaurants across the country, for which partners are already being sought, the company’s announcement states.
The development of the network is planned in the first round in cities with over 50,000 inhabitants, each location is considered individually and its potential is assessed. (In Hungary, almost all county seats and county towns belong to the over 50,000 or close to it category.)
After France and Poland, the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets follow: AmRest, Europe’s leading multi-brand restaurant operator, currently operates 26 restaurants within the country’s borders. Miklós Kozák, Pizza Hut’s Hungarian director, revealed that the number of people interested in the opportunity in Hungary exceeded their expectations.
“The goal is for the restaurant we open to be profitable in the long term. For this reason, we follow the same approval process with all our franchise partners, which includes the preparation of a financial plan. We will only be present in places we believe in and see the future in.”
he declared.
He added: those who are considering joining can take into account that, in addition to handing over the constructed system, they will also be provided with the necessary training. According to Miklós Kozák, the company is on a stable footing and was able to emerge stronger from the coronavirus epidemic that shook the entire hospitality industry.
