A fifth of Hungarian women and a quarter of men do not believe in health care
The majority of Hungarians (78%) consider health care to be important, but at the same time, almost half of the respondents only remember that they need to take care of their health when they are already sick, according to the data of a representative survey by Pilulka.hu, which was conducted on April 7 published on the occasion of World Health Day.
In addition, 20% of women and 24% of men do not believe in health care at all. The 50-year-old group excels both in awareness and actions in the field of health preservation.
In the research, they also asked what we think can contribute to maintaining and improving health. The list is headed by vitamins and dietary supplements, 72% of respondents indicated these. Béla Grósz, the executive responsible for the Hungarian market of the Pilulka.hu online drugstore, said that their sales data also support this, since after baby-mother products, vitamins and dietary supplements are the best-sellers.
