Successful agricultural research is needed for the development of agriculture

The development of the Hungarian agriculture and the ensuring of its competitiveness can not be achieved without effective agricultural research activities in Hungary – the Parliamentary Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said on Tuesday in Hódmezővásárhely.

Nagy István Parliamentary Minister of Agriculture explained at the opening of the Agrárinnováció a gyakorlatban (Agricultural Innovation in Practice) conference that the development funds can only be utilized properly if they are invested into advanced breeding technologies, the appropriate biological basis is available and markets can be provided to the products.
