The Hungarian honeys are also promoted at the Milan Expo
The Hungarikum Week started on Monday. The most popular, high-quality Hungarian honeys will also be showcased in the Hungarian Pavilion at the Expo in Milan with the professional guidance of the Hungarian National Apiculture Association (OMME) – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) informed MTI on Wednesday.
The bulletin cites Zsigó Robert, Minister of State of the Mionistry of Agriculture (FM) in charge of food chain surveillance, who said at that Hungary annually produces about 20 thousand tons of honey every year. This honey has high-quality according to the food safety point of view, it is a popular export product, while the domestic apiary is contributing to conserving biodiversity. (MTI)
