Tesco is the most creditable merchandising retail chain according to Hungarian consumers
Tesco-Global Plc. is considered to be one of the most creditable Hungarian brands and the best trusted food retailer, says Reader's Digest's Trusted Brands 2009 survey.
Reader's Digest Trusted Brands is an
annual consumer survey established in 2001, involving over 23
thousand people in sixteen European countries and fourteen languages.
The primary objective of the survey is to find out which brands
Europeans trust the most in a range of consumer product categories.
In addition, the survey tries to find an answer to questions like to
what extent people trust the EU or the internet, and participants
identified their trust in different professions as well. The survey
carried out between August and October 2008 proves that strong brands
remain in a top position.

tea: Lipton, coffee: Douwe Egberts Omnia, beer: Borsodi, chocolate:
Milka, milk dessert: Danone, Quick-frozen food: Iglo, Pet food:
Pedigree, TV Channel: RTL Klub, Television set: Samsung, home
appliances: Philips, hair Colourant: Palette Color, deodorant: Nivea.
