According to the majority of young Hungarians (72%), the influence of the future employer on the climate is an important factor when choosing a workplace
EIB 2022-2023. The second part of its 2016 climate survey examines how people feel about climate change in a rapidly changing world. The current round of the survey focuses on the individual behavior of citizens and their actions to combat climate change
- According to 72% of Hungarians between the ages of 20 and 29, the future employer’s impact on the climate is an important aspect when choosing a job, and 19% of them believe that it is the most important aspect
- 71% of Hungarians are convinced that their own behavior can count in dealing with the climate emergency
- 72% of Hungarian respondents support the labeling of all foods in order to reduce the effects on the climate and the environment.
- 52% support stronger government action to change people’s behavior to tackle climate change
These are some of the findings of the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) latest annual climate survey conducted in August 2022 and published today. The EIB is the lending body of the European Union and the world’s largest multilateral lender for climate protection projects.
