The Ministry is proud of the Hungarian seed sector’s performance. The Hungarian seed exports give more than 10 percent of the world’s seed trade – the Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) said on Friday at a professional conference in Budapest.
At the jubilee event of the Bázismag Kft. Feldman Zsolt said that last year 250 640 tonnes of seeds were produced in Hungary on 101 457 hectares, which is a 10 percent smaller area, compared to the previous year. The generated volume remained similar to the previous year.
