The reception is positive (the picture is an illustration)
Locusts and crickets, considered by many to be superfoods, have now been included for the first time in the assortment of a really large food delivery company that covers half the country.
“Based on the experience of the first weeks, their reception was very good. They produced good sales figures. We like to add color to our selection with new, trendy, innovative products, and now this category absolutely meets these criteria”
– said buyer Zsófia Vácz-Tóth in response to Pénzcentrum’s inquiry.
In any case, the products are not exactly cheap: 80 g of cricket protein chips costs HUF 890, 20 g of spicy fried crickets costs HUF 2,890, and 10 g of edible grasshoppers with thyme and oregano seasoning costs HUF 2,990.
