Luxembourgers have the highest retail purchasing power
In Europe the average per capita retail purchasing power is EUR 6,517, but there are significant differences in retail spending between the 25 European countries surveyed, with Luxembourg having the highest per capita purchasing power at EUR 12,067, reveals a recent study by GfK.

Overall 12 out of 25 countries have a retail purchasing power below the average – Romania is the last in the ranking with EUR 2,986. Hungary is in the bottom third of the list with EUR 4,572. //
