The former chairman of Lidl Hungary’s board of directors and his colleague also received prestigious recognition on the European Trade Day
The former manager and employee of Lidl Hungary received prestigious professional awards on the occasion of the European Trade Day. Jenő Grósz, Lidl International board member responsible for several countries, received a Certificate of Appreciation from Gábor Klauzál, while Gabriella Vőki, a store employee who has worked for Lidl Hungary for two decades, received the Grand Prize for Hungarian Trade.

Awards for outstanding, exemplary activities and achievements in the interest of Hungarian trade are presented at the beginning of November every year, on European Trade Day. At the ceremony held for the twentieth time, the National Trade Association (OKSZ) presented Jenő Grósz, the former chairman of the board of Lidl Hungary, with a Certificate of Recognition from Gábor Klauzál at the Ministry of National Economy. The specialist started his career in 2004 as a regional sales manager in the Székesfehérvár region. In 2006, he became the head of the logistics center in Hejőkürt, and from 2010 to September 2024, he held the position of chairman of the board. As it stands in professional appreciation;
“He is one of the authorities in domestic retail, under whose leadership Lidl Hungary not only became the market leader, but with his extensive knowledge and experience, as well as the director responsible for several countries of Lidl International, he has a significant impact on both domestic and international retail.”
The Grand Prize for Hungarian Trade, founded by Sándor Demján, is awarded every year by the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ). In 2024, this prestigious professional recognition was given to Gabriella Vőki, who works in one of Lidl Hungary’s stores in Szeged, and who, according to the justification, sets an excellent example for the new generation with her diligence, commitment, positive attitude, accuracy and work ethic.
