Lidl invests in payment solutions
Lidl is investing in different payment solutions in different European countries. In one of its stores in Paris, Lidl is testing a scan and go app called Shop&Go, to reduce queuing time at tills. Lidl has introduced a mobile payment solution to facilitate payment for its shoppers in its 250 Portuguese stores; the MB Way app is also used by other retailers in the country. Lidl is testing self-checkouts in Leuven, Belgium.
