Lidl is a partner of the 2025 Men’s Handball Championship™
Lidl continues to support the handball community and is the official fresh food partner of the 2025 IHF Men’s Handball World Championship™.
Lidl has been involved in supporting international handball events since 2017 and today the company announces that it will continue to be the official fresh food partner of the 2025 IHF Men’s Handball World Championship™. This is the ninth year in a row that Lidl has supported major handball events, reinforcing its commitment to promoting health, nutrition and an active lifestyle across Europe.
Supporting sports events is a key part of Lidl’s commitment to promoting healthy living and conscious eating. By continuing its “We’re On Your Team” campaign, Lidl is able to inspire fans and communities across Europe with its conscious eating strategy. In this regard, Lidl will be offering fruit and smoothie tastings at the stadiums, providing seating at Lidl Freshness Lounges in Herning, Zagreb and Oslo, and will also present the Best Young Player award. Lidl is thus continuing its efforts to inspire the younger generation to lead a healthy, active lifestyle and participate in team sports.
The 2025 IHF Men’s Handball World Championship™ will take place in five cities, three countries, with 32 nations participating – half of which will be Lidl countries – and promises to unite fans in their shared passion for handball.
“Following the success of the Women’s EHF EURO 2024™, we are delighted to announce that Lidl is the Official Partner of this year’s IHF Men’s World Championship 2025TM. We understand how important conscious nutrition and exercise are for our health and well-being, and how major sporting events play a key role in encouraging people to move and be active. We hope that this sponsorship will continue to provide an opportunity to inspire communities across Europe to live healthier and more active lifestyles,” emphasized Judit Tőzsér, the company’s head of communications.
