Two thirds of the distillers are not used by private cookers
Only one third of the reported distillers are used by private pálinka makers – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told according to last year’s figures – the Pálinka National Council draws attention.
According to the council’s announcement published on Tuesday, a total of 23,662 distillers are registered in the country; This number may be even less than one-third if a private maker has legally purchased several times – they indicated. (MTI)
