It’s really worth it for the most beautiful moments – Lidl has launched a special campaign
Lidl Hungary has launched a special Christmas campaign this year, which goes beyond traditional holiday marketing activities and is also complemented by a fundraising campaign. The discount chain is inviting its customers to join forces this holiday season in connection with its international marketing campaign launched with the motto “It’s really worth it for the most beautiful moments.” By joining forces with three partner organizations that pursue different activities but fight for the same goal, the discount chain wants to bring a little miracle to disadvantaged children’s Christmas. It also expects its customers to participate in this, because doing something for others is really worth it.
Many consider Christmas to be the most wonderful time of the year, when we do everything we can to bring joy to others. But what if this attitude wasn’t limited to just a few weeks? That’s exactly what Lidl’s Christmas campaign is calling attention to, and it encourages us to carry these small gestures – appreciation and care – over to the rest of the year.
“With our everyday work, we want to contribute to making our customers’ everyday lives a little better and less carefree. And our Christmas campaign shows how wonderful the festive season is and encourages us to experience this warmth and togetherness every day. “It’s really worth it for the most beautiful moments.” our motto clearly expresses our corporate values, as well as our long-term social responsibility and commitment to sustainability”
– said Zita Szlavikovics, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Lidl Hungary.
Lidl’s social commitment: helping every day is really worth it
One of the most important elements of Lidl Hungary’s social responsibility activities is the regular, year-round support of disadvantaged children and their family members, which is regularly supplemented with a unique campaign and initiative. As the holidays approach, for example, the discount chain calls on its customers to join forces every year, and this year will be no different: with their participation, the company will donate 20 million forints worth of products that can be easily integrated into a healthy diet to three organizations, so that they can help those in need. In this way, they can contribute to making the holiday magic also reaches disadvantaged children who rarely have this opportunity.
Customers can vote
In the holiday assistance campaign launched with the slogan “Doing for others? It’s really worth it!”, customers can vote on Lidl’s Facebook page from November 24 to December 11 for the three selected foundations that they like the most, whose goals they agree with the most, and thus increase the value of the support intended for the given organization.
All three beneficiaries of the campaign work to ensure that children can live happier and healthier lives.
- Many children spend the last days of the year without a holiday menu and gifts. By supporting the Weekly Food Association, they help feed those in need so that they too can experience the intimate moments of the holiday.
- The Etesd Foundation works to make learning about nutrition enjoyable, and thanks to their work, children are introduced to health-conscious and sustainable eating through an organized educational program.
- For children, exercise, play and sport are a daily source of joy, but this also requires energy. The Love is the Answer Non-profit Association supports the active lifestyle and sports of disadvantaged children.
Lidl Hungary is committed to contributing to a more livable, more considerate and more humane future not only with its quality products, but also with its community involvement, at Christmas and every day of the year.
