The most prestigious pálinka competition
At the end of June the National Council of Pálinka (PNT) organised the award ceremony of the 11th National Pálinka and Grape Marc Pálinka Competition, which had taken place in Csopak in May.

Gond Pálinka House has been named the most successful pálinka distillery
Speaking at the award ceremony Minister of Agriculture István Nagy said: the competition makes a major contribution to the development of Hungarian pálinka culture. PNT president László Mihályi expressed his appreciation to the distilleries. This year’s competition attracted 328 entries from 40 distilleries. Hungary’s best pálinka in 2024 became the William’s pear pálinka by Brill Pálinka House. The best batch of over 10,000 bottles was Bolyhos Pálinka Distillery’s Black Cherry, and the most successful pálinka distilleries were: 1. Gong Pálinka House, 2. Brill Pálinka House, 3. 1Csepp pálinka. //
